Ingredients

    • 2 lbs fresh strawberries, medium to large

    • 2 cups dark or milk chocolate chips

Instructions

    1. Rinse and gently pat dry the fresh strawberries.

    1. Using a small, sharp knife, carve out the stem of each strawberry in a circular motion.

    1. Slice each strawberry in half.

    1. At the top center of each berry half, cut a small V-shape to form a heart.

    1. Gently insert a wooden stick at the bottom of the heart shape.

    1. Heat the chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds. Repeat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

    1. Dip each strawberry heart into the melted chocolate. Let them dry on parchment paper until the chocolate firms up.
