Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 4 large garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons Greek Seasoning
- 1 large lemon, juiced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a ziplock bag, combine olive oil, white wine vinegar, minced garlic, Greek Seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Shake well to mix the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bag. Seal and shake the bag to coat the chicken thoroughly with the marinade. Refrigerate and let marinate overnight, or for at least 6 hours, to enhance the flavors.
- Once marinated, remove the chicken from the bag and discard the leftover marinade. Thread the chicken onto skewers.
- Preheat the grill. Grill the skewered chicken until it is thoroughly cooked, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Serve the Chicken Souvlaki warm. It pairs beautifully with Tzatziki sauce for dipping, can be used as a topping for a Greek salad, or wrapped in pita bread for delicious chicken gyros. Complement with Greek sides or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
