Cherry Cheesecake Lush Dessert

Ingredients

For the Graham Cracker Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)

For the Cherry Cream Layer:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup whipped topping

For the Topping:

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or graham cracker crumbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into a 9×13-inch baking dish or square pan.
  3. Refrigerate while preparing the cheesecake layers.

Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Layer

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in whipped topping until fluffy and well combined.
  3. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust.

Step 3: Prepare the Cherry Cream Layer

  1. In a clean bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in ½ cup of cherry pie filling and whipped topping, mixing gently.
  3. Spread this layer evenly over the cheesecake layer.

Step 4: Add the Topping

  1. Spread the remaining cherry pie filling over the top.
  2. Sprinkle with chopped pecans or extra graham cracker crumbs if desired.

Step 5: Chill & Serve

  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  2. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
