If you want perfectly juicy, cheesy chicken every time, keep these tips in mind:

Ingredients

For the Cheesy Ranch Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise (to make 4 thinner pieces)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or 1 block cream cheese, softened)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 1 tablespoon homemade ranch seasoning)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar & mozzarella)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • If they are thick, slice them in half lengthwise so they cook more evenly.
  • Season both sides with black pepper and paprika (no need for extra salt since ranch seasoning has plenty).

Step 3: Make the Creamy Ranch Mixture

  • In a bowl, mix together:
✅ Mayonnaise (or softened cream cheese)
    ✅ Ranch seasoning
    ✅ Minced garlic
  • Stir until smooth and well combined.

Step 4: Assemble the Dish

  • Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  • Sprinkle generously with shredded cheddar cheese.

Step 5: Bake Until Golden & Bubbly

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • For a crispy cheese crust, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.

Step 6: Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
  • Serve warm with your favorite side dishes!
