Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

½ small onion, finely chopped

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

4 large flour tortillas
-
Butter or oil for greasing the pan
Instructions

In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned and soft. Drain fat.

Stir in garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes more. Set aside.

Heat a clean skillet. Lightly butter or oil one side of each tortilla.

Place tortilla (greased side down) on skillet. Add cheese, beef mixture, and more cheese to one half.

Fold over and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and melted.

Slice and serve hot with salsa, sour cream, or guac.
