If you’re craving a quick, flavorful, and restaurant-quality seafood dish, this Buttery Honey Garlic Shrimp is the perfect choice! Juicy shrimp are sautéed in rich butter, glazed with a sweet and garlicky honey sauce, and finished with a touch of spice and freshness.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Shrimp

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel (this helps them sear better).
  2. Season with paprika and black pepper.

Step 2: Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.

Step 3: Sear the Shrimp

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and slightly caramelized.
  3. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4: Cook the Garlic & Glaze

  1. In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the honey garlic sauce, stirring for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Add the shrimp back in, tossing to coat them evenly in the sauce.
  4. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  2. Serve hot over rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
  3. Enjoy these sticky, buttery, and garlicky shrimp!
