Ingredients

Brownie Layer:

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 325ยฐF (163ยฐC).
  • Grease a 9-inch springform pan or line with parchment.

2. Make Brownie Base

  • In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  • Spread into prepared pan and bake for 18โ€“20 minutes, until set but not overbaked.

3. Make Cheesecake Filling

  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Mix in vanilla and sour cream until smooth.
  • Pour gently over cooled brownie layer.

4. Bake Cheesecake

  • Bake at 325ยฐF for 35โ€“40 minutes, or until edges are set and center slightly jiggles.
  • Turn off oven, crack door, and let cool 1 hour.

5. Ganache Topping

  • Heat heavy cream until hot (not boiling), pour over chocolate chips.
