Ingredients

For the Cookies:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened 🧈

  • 1 cup milk 🥛

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch 🌽
  • 1 egg yolk 🥚
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 🌿

For the Ganache:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream 🥛
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips 🍫

Instructions

How to Make Them 🔥🍴 1. Bake the Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients and milk. Scoop onto baking sheet, bake 8-10 minutes until edges are golden.

2. Make the Cream Filling

In a saucepan, whisk milk, sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolk. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Cool completely.

3. Prepare the Ganache

Heat cream until steaming. Pour over chocolate chips, let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.

4. Assemble Cookies

Spread cream on one cookie, top with another, and spoon ganache over the top. Chill slightly to set.
