Beef & Cheddar Sliders

Perfect for game days, parties, potlucks, or even a quick weeknight meal, these sliders come together fast and disappear even faster!

Ingredients

For the Sliders:

  • 1 dozen Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • ¾ lb very thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese (or 1 cup shredded cheddar)

For the Buttery Topping:

  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven & Prep the Rolls

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keeping them connected).

Step 2: Layer the Ingredients

  1. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish.
  2. Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the rolls.
  3. Layer the sliced roast beef over the BBQ sauce.
  4. Place cheddar cheese slices on top of the beef.
  5. Cover with the top half of the rolls.

Step 3: Make the Buttery Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and black pepper.
  2. Brush the buttery mixture generously over the tops of the sliders.

Step 4: Bake Until Golden & Gooey

  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden brown.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes, then cut them apart and serve warm.

  • Oven: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Yes! Assemble the sliders up to 8 hours ahead, cover with foil, and refrigerate. When ready to bake, add 5 extra minutes to the baking time.
