Ingredients
-
2 cups milk
-
1 (5 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
-
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup powdered sugar
-
1 (12 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
-
4 ripe bananas, sliced
-
1 (11 oz) box vanilla wafers
-
Additional whipped topping and banana slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and vanilla pudding mix until smooth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread half of the pudding mixture on the bottom. Layer half of the sliced bananas on top, followed by a layer of vanilla wafers.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the wafers. Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining pudding mixture on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
- Before serving, garnish with additional whipped topping and banana slices, if desired.
