This Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf is the ultimate comfort food, combining the flavors of a juicy cheeseburger with the savory goodness of meatloaf. The bacon adds a crispy, smoky twist that makes this dish even more irresistible. Perfect for a hearty dinner!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds 85% lean ground beef
  • 1 pound country-style sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup diced onion
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Morton’s Nature’s seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup diced cheddar cheese
  • Bacon slices (enough to line 2 loaf pans)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Meat Mixture: In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients except for the bacon until well combined.
  3. Prepare Loaf Pans: Line two loaf pans with bacon slices, arranging them along the bottom and sides.
  4. Form Meatloaf: Divide the meat mixture evenly between the two loaf pans, pressing it down to form loaves.
  5. Bake: Place the loaf pans in the preheated oven and bake for 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Rest and Slice: Once done, remove the meatloaf from the oven and immediately transfer them from the loaf pans to a cutting board. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve: Serve and enjoy! Optionally, save leftovers to make delicious sandwiches the next day.

Tip: Removing the meatloaf from the pan immediately after baking helps reduce the amount of grease in the dish, making it less greasy and more flavorful.

This Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf is perfect for a filling meal, offering a hearty and flavorful twist on the classic meatloaf. It’s packed with cheesy, meaty goodness and topped with crispy bacon—definitely a crowd-pleaser
