Ingredients
- 1 package devil’s food or German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar caramel topping
- 1 (8 oz) tub of Cool Whip
- 4–5 Snickers bars (or substitute with Skor, Heath bar, or mini Reese’s)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cake:
Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan according to the package instructions. Let it cool for 5 minutes after baking. - Poke and Soak:
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes throughout the cake. Allow the cake to cool slightly, about half an hour, until it’s warm. Slowly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cake. - Cool and Top:
Let the cake cool completely. For faster cooling, you can refrigerate it, making sure to cover it well. Once cooled, spread an even layer of Cool Whip on top. - Decorate:
Chop the candy bars into small pieces and sprinkle them generously over the Cool Whip. Finish with an extra drizzle of caramel for a beautiful presentation.
