- 6 Medjool dates, pitted
- ¼ cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
- ¼ cup roasted peanuts (or any nuts of choice)
- ½ cup dark chocolate, melted
- A pinch of sea salt (optional, but highly recommended!)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Dates
- Slice each Medjool date lengthwise (without cutting all the way through).
- Remove the pit, creating a small pocket in each date.
2. Fill with Peanut Butter & Nuts
- Spoon a small amount of peanut butter into each date.
- Press roasted peanuts into the peanut butter.
3. Dip in Dark Chocolate
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or over a double boiler.
- Using a fork, dip each stuffed date into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray.
4. Sprinkle with Sea Salt & Set
- Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top for extra flavor.
- Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
5. Serve & Enjoy
- Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container for later.
