1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp granulated sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a floured surface, unfold and cut puff pastry into 6 rectangles.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and flour until smooth.

Spoon a small amount of filling into the center of each rectangle.

Fold or crimp edges if desired. Brush pastry edges with beaten egg.

Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing.
