Ingredients

2 large firm peaches (not overly ripe)

2 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions

Peel and halve the peaches.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Place peaches cut side down and cook until the edges brown.

Flip, sprinkle with half the sugars, and brown the other side.

Flip once more, add remaining sugars, and cook until sugars caramelize slightly.

Spoon syrup over peaches, cook until glossy, and serve warm.

Optional: Top with whipped cream, ice cream, or chopped pecans.
