Fudgy chocolate brownies swirled with a creamy cheesecake layer—easy to make and utterly irresistible!

Ingredients

Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch pan.

  2. Make brownie batter: Melt butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla. Mix in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.

  3. Make cream cheese mixture: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

  4. Assemble: Spread 3/4 of brownie batter in pan. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture. Add remaining brownie batter between.

  5. Swirl: Gently swirl with a knife to marble.

  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set with a slightly fudgy center.

  7. Cool completely, then chill for 30 minutes before slicing.
